Three submissions, twenty-two days. The first one was closed as not approved, which sent it back to the end of the queue. The second drew five points, the third drew three. Nothing in the feedback was unreasonable; most of it was the review team declining to let a theme make decisions that belong to the site owner or to a plugin.
Two of those points were worth arguing with myself about. Removing the wp_robots filter meant giving up a small piece of tidiness around sorted URLs. Adding custom-logo and custom-background meant a theme that advertises having no images now has a place to put one. Both turned out to cost nothing: nothing is emitted until somebody opts in, and a theme that never had the right to decide these things has not lost anything by admitting it.
The measured numbers are unchanged from the first submission. Two requests, no JavaScript, no web fonts, no font declarations at all.
